Discipline Norms
At KMBB the students and staffs, all take pride in :
(a) The maxim : ‘If it’s worth doing, it is worth doing well’
(b) Respecting each other’s feelings and religious beliefs.
(c) Being helpful and courteous to each other and to any visitor whom we may meet on the school premises.
(d) Always remembering that ‘Please’, ‘Thank You’ and ‘Sorry’ are the most beautiful words to put into practice.
2. The admission of a child to the school means complete acceptance by the Parents/Guardian of all school rules laid down/ amended from time to time. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the school management.
3. Students are required to report to school before the first bell rings for morning assembly. Those coming late will get a ‘Late’ stamp in their diaries. After four recorded instances of being late, parents will be informed telephonically and the child will be sent home.
4. It is mandatory for Parents to sign the Principal’s and Teacher’s remarks in the Link Book. Parent’s signature/acknowledgement of a remark implies that appropriate follow-up/remedial action is being taken. This is essential for the ultimate benefit of the child.
5. All children should come to school clean and tidy, and in well-ironed school uniform. Hair should be well combed and tidy. Nails should be trimmed regularly. Shoes should be well polished. If the child does not habitually adhere to the Uniform norms, he/she will be sent home.
6. All children should be particularly careful not to throw paper and rubbish anywhere in the school premises. They should use the bins especially provided for that purpose. Polythene bags are strongly discouraged.
7. Students are required to speak in English while at school, both in the class room and in the play ground.
8. No child is allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Section Co-ordinator. The Gate Pass issued by the School Receptionist must be deposited with the School Guard before leaving.
13. Politeness and good conduct on the part of students is important. Counselling is being done at regular intervals during assemblies. The School Counsellor interacts with students, on various issues, from time to time.
14. Abusive language, shouting and screaming is not allowed on the school premises.
15. During recess and before morning assembly, students should not be inside the class rooms.
16. Students are not allowed to celebrate birthdays in school.
